Probiotic Advisor - Andy Townsend Design

The Probiotic Advisor provides independent, unbiased, evidence-based information on probiotics, their potential risks, and documented benefits. The main aim is to provide health professionals and consumers with the background knowledge needed to become more critical consumers of probiotic products.

Our brief was to design and develop a searchable database showing results for probiotic products, probiotic strains, and evidence-based research. The results pages needed to be clearly designed and the database needed to be able to be updated easily. Along with the database, the client wanted a website that allowed potential subscribers to view the service offering and to be able to sign-up to a free one-day trial along with purchasing a yearly subscription to the service.

The website has succeeded in providing a great platform for probiotic consumers and health professionals to query products and research and receive timely responses in an easy to understand manner.

Since launching we’ve been asked to enhance the application to allow for institutional students, allow for multiple currencies, allow clients to manage their subscription credit card(s) and streamlined their email marketing lead capture.
