ASAP Advice - Andy Townsend Design

ASAP Advice is a new financial technology (fintech) startup which allows an accountant to use a web application to order statements of advice for clients with self-managed super funds (SMSFs) without the accountant going through the work to get a financial services license.

Our brief was split into two areas. 1) to design and build a website to explain and sell the service and 2) to design and build an application to provide the service to accountants.

We mocked up landing pages and designed and built the sales website. We also analysed the business requirements, mocked up, designed and helped build the web application, built a secure server to host the data and enhanced the performance of the application. Some of the more difficult problems solved were integrating and implementing an automated email delivery and receiving system for correspondence, producing stylish and readable invoices and taking complex workflows and reducing them to easy to use interfaces – the last of which has been patented by the client.

While in its infancy, the website and the separate web application has received favourable feedback.
