Images of Antarctica - Andy Townsend Design

Images of Antarctica started in 2004 to showcase the best contemporary Antarctic photography. As a founding partner I, along with another partner, ran the business for 8 years.

Aiming to inspire and educate, the company published a number of products to an international customer base. Materials published included large and small-format wall calendars, greeting cards, postcards, bookmarks and gift cards. We also sold Fine Art prints and sold image licenses.

I contributed a number of images and designed all the products and marketing materials. I also build an eCommerce site to handle orders, a customer database to help with the order distribution and an email marketing system.

In 2010 we picked up a gold in the World calendar awards for our 2009 large-format calendar.
